Kolkata, July 5, 2025 – The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has finally announced the exact release date for the WBJEE 2025 result: on or after July 31, 2025, following an interim stay by the Calcutta High Court related to the updated OBC reservation list.
The WBJEE was held on April 27/28, 2025, returning to its standard two‑paper format.
Though past years saw results out within 26–48 days, this year’s timeline has been pushed back due to legal hold-up over category‑wise ranking following updates to the OBC list.
The High Court has placed an interim stay on implementing the revised OBC list until July 31, 2025, delaying result finalization.
Result expected on or immediately after July 31, 2025, once the reservation issue is clarified.
WBJEEB will publish the scorecards via login-based rank‑cards—no public merit list will be issued.
